Feedback:     Yes, I would really like some. Tell how you like the
map and if you would like a new version (starwar1.* ?).
What changes should this have ? 8 players shouldn’t be
too tricky. You're free to try.

Planet:       Mars
Size:         5120x5120 (Large)
Players:      6
Type:         Strategy
Scrap Count:  360
Geysers:      18

Powerups:     This is strategy - build an armoury. It should launch
everything where you want it due to the location of the
              geysers.

Description:  The map is a star, the border and interior lines being
canyons and the points plateaus on which the players
build bases. The central hexagon was meant to be
inaccessible except to walkers so it should not figure
into things except as an obstacle that must be avoided.
However, the canyons in this version aren't wide enough,
and it is possible for the player to drive a Grizzly or
a Test Range Turret (and probably a few more units) onto
the centre, and off it onto a different point. The only
way up onto the points from the canyon is at the tip,
where there is a fairly gentle slope instead of the usual
cliff. The slopes have not been tested, but find path says
they shouldn’t be a problem, and tanks and scavengers used
them as ordered when playing, as far as I know.. I used
Derek Sorensen’s bzfrac.exe to make this map from a bitmap
image, which saved a great deal of time and frustration
with creating the angled canyons. The map was originally
multst70, but I used a homemade visual basic text editor
to change the bzn file. It works.
